Geographic Location
Composed of villages Lunca ( population: 1282 ), Manastirea Neamt ( population : 614 ) , Nemtisor ( population: 1627) and Vînatori-Neamt ( population : 5302 )- village of residence, Vînatori-Neamt occupies the extreme north of the Neamt county and the northwest of Neamt Depression, one of the most exquisite Carpathian depressions in our country, as Michael David named it, in 1931.
Geographical Limits:
- At East, we have neighboring town of Targu-Neamt
- Village Agapia in south
- Village Cracaoani, in south-west
- In west, the neighboring village Pipirig
- In north are two villages in Suceava county: Risca and Boroaia
- Village Brusturi, in north-east
- In the east, adjacent to the village we have Raucesti village.
Vânatori-Neamt village landscape is varied and includes:
- Mountainous area, represented by the ramifications of Stanisoarei Ridge with mountains covered with mixed forests, with a height that slightly exceeds 1000 meters.
- The hills, with heights ranging between 500-900 meters is represented by numerous hills fragmented by rivers, covered with mixed forests.
- Follows the plain, a low area, consisting of terraces of 2-6 meters and 10-15 meters of the two major water flowing within the village: Neamt and Nemtisorul.
- Finally, there are the meadows along valleys of Nemtisorului and Neamtului, sloping from west to east.
